''Please stay in the line'' she said. ''You don' t have to talk. I just want to feel that you are there.''
Tia left the telephone hanging between her shoulder and her head. Her hair was wet form the sudden English shower through her way back home and now her hand was greasy. Her fingers was messing with her hair unpurposesly and they were wet from the rain water, the remenants from that morning's hairspray still in her hair and some sweat. ''How can you get sweaty while you are walking in the rain? I mean I know you' re walking and that provokes sweat, but it's also raining and it's most often cold while it's raining. Even the rain drops are cold most of the time'' she wondered from time to time.

| Long distance love...!!! |
''Are you still here'' she asked ''noo, the same this and that'' she requested probably in a question about if anything interesting had came up recently. But she seemed not so interested in answering that one. Not because everything in her life was dull but because she was hangering for a conversation different from the typical one with the person on the other side of the line. Either that or no talking at all. Just the noise of his breath was enough. She could get calm in a second in the sound of his breath.
''Are you alseep already'' she asked while placing her feet in the couch. She was still with her wet clothes on. ''I mean it's fine, don't worry... I mean if you think about it, we're not in the same time zone anymore...'' she started talking non-stop now. She was uncomfortable, trying to find her next line. ''It's late there, right? At least later than here'' she was now unbottoning her jeans. She should have a shower afterwards. To get rid off all the long day's pressure. A proper shower. In a bath.
''Yeah, goodnight..Catch you up tommorow.. I need to get some sleep too..'' she knew she wouldn't sleep right away, but she lied anyway.
''Yeah, goodnight there, too'' her voice was a little over the top and uncontrolled.... ''And please God, don't let us loose intimacy'' that was more like a whisper. An informal pray. But noone heard it. Unless God truly exists. The beeb on the other side of the line was steady.
